Delete your account.

You can delete your Trivvy account & gameplay data at any time, in-app, in about 30 seconds. Here’s exactly how — and exactly what happens.

How to delete inside the app

Open Trivvy

Launch the app on your iPhone and sign in to the account you want to delete.

Go to your profile

Tap the Me tab in the bottom bar to open your profile.

Open Settings → Account

Tap the gear icon at the top right of your profile, then choose Account.

Delete Account

Tap Delete Account, confirm twice. Your data is queued for deletion right away.

What gets deleted

When you confirm deletion, we immediately remove the following from our active systems and your account is signed out on all devices:

Deleted right away Removed

  • Email & display name
  • Streaks, XP and level
  • Trivia & Geography progress
  • Passport & flag collection
  • Leaderboard entries
  • Owned avatars & outfits
  • Notification & sync preferences

Retained briefly Up to 90 days

  • Encrypted backups (overwritten on schedule)
  • Anonymized fraud / cheat-detection logs
  • Records required by law (e.g. tax / receipts)
  • App Store purchase records (held by Apple, not us)
  • Security audit trails

Retained data is kept only for security, legal compliance, fraud prevention, and routine backup rotation — and is automatically purged on schedule (typically within 90 days, never longer than legally required).

! Important things to know

  • It’s permanent. Once you confirm deletion, we can’t bring your streak, XP, or cosmetics back.
  • App Store purchases live with Apple. If you re-create an account on the same Apple ID, you can Restore Purchases to re-claim eligible cosmetics — your gameplay history won’t return, but paid items can.
  • Leaderboards update next refresh. Your entries are removed from public boards on the next refresh cycle (within an hour).
  • Uninstalling alone doesn’t delete your data. Always run Delete Account first if you want your data gone.

If you can’t sign in, lost device access, or just want a person to do this for you, email us and we’ll handle deletion manually within 30 days:

Include: the email or display name (@u_...) on the account so we can verify it’s yours.

We may ask one or two questions only your account would know (e.g. your last-played day) before deleting — this protects you from someone else requesting deletion of your account.
