Privacy Policy

★ Overview

Trivvy is a daily trivia, geography and guessing game published by Arc Vitals LLC (“we”, “us”). We built Trivvy to be fun first and respectful of your data by default. This policy explains what we collect, why, and what you control.

The short version: we collect what we need to run the game — your account, your scores, your streaks — and nothing more. We don’t sell your data.

1 Information we collect

When you play Trivvy, we collect three kinds of information:

• Account information you provide when you sign in (e.g. email, display name, username).
• Gameplay data generated as you play — answers, scores, streaks, XP, level, coins, leaderboard rank, friends and challenges.
• Device & app diagnostics — crash reports and usage analytics that help us keep the app stable and improve it.

2 Account & sign-in information

You can sign in with Apple, with Google, or with an email and password. We store:

• Your email address (the one you sign up with, or the one Apple or Google shares with us; Apple lets you hide it behind a relay address).
• A display name and username you choose (or one we auto-generate, like @u_5dbc6321c4684253). Names are checked against an offensive-words filter.
• An internal account ID used to sync your progress across devices.

We never store your password in readable form: email passwords are stored only as a salted hash, and Apple and Google handle their own sign-in.

3 Gameplay data

To deliver streaks, XP, leaderboards and progress, we record:

• Scores & accuracy per day, per game (Trivia, Geography, Landmarks and Guesstimate), including how long you took to answer.
• Streaks — current streak length and longest streak.
• XP & level, plus the events that earned them.
• Leaderboard data — your display name, username, avatar and score, visible to other players on global and friend boards.
• Geography progress — countries seen, flags collected (“Passport”), Continent Cup standings.
• Trivia progress — categories played, daily mix history, ability to revisit prior days.
• Friends & challenges — friend requests, friends lists, and challenges you send, accept and play, including any coin stake.
• Board chat — the preset messages (like “GG”) you post to your friends’ board. Chat posts are hidden at the end of each day and deleted soon after.
• Coins & cosmetics — your coin balance and history, and the avatars, skins and themes you own.

4 Device & app diagnostics

To keep the app running well, we collect a small amount of technical data:

• Device model, iOS version, app version
• Crash logs and error reports, linked to an internal account ID (never your email or name)
• Performance metrics (e.g. load times)
• Usage analytics: which screens and features are used, linked to an internal account ID. You can turn this off in Me → Settings → Privacy → Share anonymous usage analytics.

We do not collect precise location, contacts, photos, or microphone data.

5 Purchases & cosmetics

You can earn coins by playing, and you may be able to buy coin packs. Purchases are processed by Apple’s App Store. We receive the transaction ID, the item bought and its date, which we check with Apple before adding coins — never your card or payment details.

Coins are spent on avatars, skins, themes, past days and challenge stakes. Coins have no cash value and can’t be withdrawn, sold or transferred. Cosmetics are purely visual.

6 How we use data

We use the information described above to:

• Run the core game — show your scores, save your streak, sync your account across devices.
• Operate leaderboards, friends, board chat, challenges and matchmaking.
• Verify purchases and keep coin balances correct.
• Diagnose crashes and improve the game.
• Detect and prevent fraud, cheating, or abuse of leaderboards.
• Comply with legal requirements.

We do not sell your personal information. We do not use your data for cross-app advertising. We do not run third-party ad networks inside Trivvy.

7 Third-party services

Trivvy is built on a small number of trusted infrastructure providers:

• Apple — Sign in with Apple and App Store purchases.
• Google — Sign in with Google.
• Railway — cloud hosting and database for accounts, scores, leaderboards and game content.
• PostHog — usage analytics (can be turned off in Settings).
• Sentry — crash and error reporting.
• Resend — sending account emails such as email verification and password resets.

Each provider is contractually bound to handle your data only on our behalf and only for the purpose described.

8 Data deletion

You can delete your account & all associated data at any time:

If you can’t access the app, email trivvysupport@arcvitals.com with the subject line “Delete my Trivvy account” and we’ll handle it within 30 days.

9 Children

Trivvy is designed for general audiences, and you must be at least 13 to create an account. We do not knowingly collect personal information from children under 13. Parents who believe their child has provided us information can contact trivvysupport@arcvitals.com and we will delete it.

10 Changes to this policy

If we make material changes to this policy, we’ll notify you inside the app and update the “Last updated” date at the top. Continued use of Trivvy after the change means you accept the updated policy.
